Bali Exotic Tour – Travel & Experience

The Best Time to Visit Bali (And What to Avoid)

One of the most common questions we get from guests is, “When should I visit Bali?” The honest answer depends on what you’re looking for. Bali has two main seasons: dry season (April to October) and wet season (November to March). Dry season is the most popular time to visit, with sunny skies, calm seas, and perfect conditions for snorkeling, surfing, and beach days. But it’s also the busiest and most expensive period, especially in July and August when European and Australian travelers flock to the island.

If you’re looking for a quieter, more authentic experience, consider visiting during the shoulder months — May, June, or September. You’ll still enjoy beautiful weather, but with fewer crowds and better prices on accommodation and tours. The wet season, on the other hand, isn’t as bad as it sounds. Yes, it rains, but usually in short, heavy bursts — often in the afternoon or evening. Mornings are often clear and gorgeous. Plus, the island is lush and green, and you’ll find incredible deals on hotels and activities.

Our biggest tip? Avoid the peak of July and August if you can, and definitely book your tours and accommodations well in advance if you’re traveling during high season. And no matter when you come, always pack a light rain jacket and sunscreen — Bali’s sun is strong even on cloudy days. Trust us, a little planning makes a world of difference.
